4. God called Moses to face Pharaoh

God called Moses to face Pharaoh—but Moses didn’t feel ready.

At the burning bush, Moses questioned who he was, whether the Israelites would believe him, and whether he could even speak well enough for the mission. Finally, he pleaded for God to send someone else.

But God answered his fears, promised to be with him, and provided Aaron to help.

Moses picked up the staff. Egypt was next.
