Moses warned that locusts would consume everything the hail had spared. Pharaoh offered a compromise—only the men could leave—but Moses insisted that everyone and their livestock must go. Then an east wind carried the locusts across Egypt.
Pharaoh confessed and asked Moses to pray. The locusts disappeared, but his refusal returned.
