Egypt’s own magicians finally admitted they were powerless.
When the dust became gnats, they could not reproduce the sign and declared, “This is the finger of God.” Then came flies—but not in Goshen. Egypt’s livestock were struck while Israel’s remained safe. Finally, boils left the magicians unable to stand before Moses.
Still, Pharaoh would not listen.
